Meet Paul

Paul grew up in Central Brevard County.  He is the son of a U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant and elementary school teacher.  Paul and his wife Kimberly moved to Vero Beach in 1993 where they raised their daughter, Katie, and two sons, Jarrod and Luke.  Paul has been active with his children, church and community.  He was involved with his children's activities and had the added joy of leading his two sons in scouting and seeing them both follow in his footsteps to become Eagle Scouts. In his church life, Paul led an adult Bible study class for over 20 years.  He has also had the opportunity to help others by offering Pro Bono legal services for those in need. Paul recognizes that true leadership must include a spirit of service such that all leadership should be servant leadership.

My Story

Paul attended Florida Southern College where he received his Bachelor's Degree with a double major in Economics and Political Science in 1985.  He then attended Stetson University College of Law where he served as a published member of Law Review.  Paul was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1988.  In 1999, he became a Board Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation.  Early in his career, he served as a prosecutor before entering private practice in Vero Beach.  Seven years ago Paul left his statewide Workers' Compensation law firm where he was a managing partner in order to become a full time mediator.

The unique niche of Workers' Compensation that Paul practiced for 25 years gave him a breadth of experience with the medical community.  His mediation practice has fine-tuned his problem-solving skills.  Paul is able to help people with opposing views understand the benefit of working collaboratively in order to make the most out of solving problems.

Paul is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator as well as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator.  He is a member of the Robert D McAliley American Inns of Court as well as the William Wieland American Inn of Court.
